Welcome to Your Security Training
Our Training is based in West Yorkshire offering expert training courses for the security industry since 2015. We offer SIA approved training for Door Security, CCTV Operatives, and Personal Protection. We also provide mandated health and safety and emergency first aid certification. Our tutors draw on years of experience in the security industry and expertise in training to help you make the most of the many opportunities opening up for SIA licensed security guards, entertainment industry door staff and CCTV operatives. We also offer APLH training which is a requirement for all landlords, nightclub managers and other retailers selling alcohol. Whether you are just starting a career in the security industry or developing new skills, we have the training you need!
Course Locations: Courses are offered on a regular basis at venues in South and West Yorkshire. We offer special rates for group bookings of 10 or more candidates and can deliver courses at an organisation's own premises for groups of this size.

Our tutors have the knowledge and skills to help you meet the requirements of the SIA licensing exams. We use a variety of training methods from information-based lectures to experiential handson practical skills training. We encourage students to work together, developing effective team skills, and supporting each other to achieve a successful end result. All necessary course materials can be purchased from the tutor on the first day, or can be pre-ordered before starting.
Our most popular course is the Door Supervisor Course. This is a 4 day training course which prepares you to work across a wide range of areas in the security industry, from working as a security guard in industry, retail, building sites and mobile patrols, to door security at pubs, clubs and other entertainment venues. Candidates are required to attend the full course and pass a final exam which is set by the SIA exam board.

Working as a Door Supervisor :
Standards of behaviour, Criminal & Civil law, Searching, Arrest, Drug Awareness, Crime scene preservation & recording incidents, Licensing law, Your role in emergency situations
The Private Security Industry :
As a CCTV Operator you need excellent observation skills and mental alertness. After all CCTV Operators are in the right place to notice that 'something isn't right' and can help to prevent serious crime. On this course we'll practice your observational skills and help you develop that all important intuition about the scenes you are observing on camera. As many students come on the course already working as CCTV operatives, students can share experiences and learn from each other as they work toward gaining certification.
Conflict Management :
Reducing risk & avoiding conflict, Defusing situations, Resolving conflict and reflection for future action, Applying conflict management & communication skills
Physical Intervention :
Introduction to physical intervention, Disengagement, Escorting, Restraining
In addition you will learn emergency resuscitation techniques and when to use these. This is a mandatory requirement before becoming licensed as a security operative.

As a Designated First Aider at Work you need to know how to take charge if there is a serious accident or a customer or member of staff collapses. On completion of our training you will be able to keep a cool head, allocate roles to your team and take the appropriate steps to keep someone alive, or prevent further injury occurring until the paramedics arrive.
The Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) is the mandatory qualification in England and Wales for people responsible for the sale of alcohol. Our 1 day training course will give you a clear understanding of the legal and regulatory framework underpinning the responsibilities of the personal licence holder.
